BIOMBRT project workshop: unravelling the biological mechanisms of MBRT.
PIANOFORTE BIOMBRT SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP
The workshop PIANOFORTE BioMBRT: Unravelling the Biological Mechanisms of Minibeam Radiation Therapy will bring together researchers and clinicians working in spatially fractionated radiation therapy, radiobiology, medical physics, and radio-immunology to discuss the latest advances in Minibeam Radiation Therapy (MBRT). The meeting will focus on the biological mechanisms underlying the remarkable normal tissue sparing and anti-tumor efficacy observed with MBRT, including immune responses, vascular effects, hypoxia modulation, intercellular communication, and spatial dose effects. The workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, promote discussion of emerging experimental and translational approaches, and strengthen the European research network within the PIANOFORTE framework.
