AgendaLocal isn't only for discovering plans: it's also your megaphone for creating them. If you're organising a concert, a workshop, a meet-up, a market or any plan in your area, you can publish it here and put it in front of the people who care about it.
Anyone can create events
You don't need to be a big organisation or have special permissions: with your free account you can already publish your own events and edit them whenever you like. You're the author and you're in charge of them.
You type the address, we handle the map
The part that's a hassle elsewhere is automatic here. You just have to type the event's address and AgendaLocal takes care of placing it on the map for you. That way your plan appears in the map view and in nearby searches, which is exactly where people in your area will find it.
What's worth filling in
To make your event shine and reach the right people, take a moment to complete:
- A clear, direct title: the first thing people read.
- Start and end dates: if it runs several days, the full range will be shown.
- Category: helps it show up in the right filters.
- Venue and address: to place it on the map.
- An image and a description: what really convinces.
- A registration link, if people need to sign up somewhere.
And from there, it turns social
The great thing about publishing on AgendaLocal is that your event enters the whole ecosystem we've covered in this series: people can save it to favourites, say they're going, invite their friends and share it on social media. You publish the plan and the community helps it grow.
A small tip
Publish a little in advance and with a good image. An event with an attractive photo and clear dates gets far more views and attendees than one thrown together at the last minute.
Take the step
Got a plan in the works? Tell your area about it:

And if your plan isn't for everyone, but just for your circle, the last article in the series is just for you: private events.
