In 2018 on March 03 the first speech based podcast entered the charts.
The Reset Rebel sat neatly in the Apple podcasts Culture and Society section and took some time to climb into the featured lists but once it did, Ibizology by William Beecham was right behind it.
Next came The Pikes Podcast with co-founder of the venue, Dawn Hindle and then the incredible Wells of Tanit from Joanna Hruby recorded down Ibiza´s forgotten wells....and quietly, slowly..... a podcast island revolution began.
It got me thinking, as a journalist and someone who has made so many island podcast series, how often do we hear audio that stays in our mind?
When do we have a listening experience that really lands and also teaches us something we can dine out on, share with friends down the pub or sound intelligent on a date!
With our launch party, we invite you to join us for the start of a monthly listening party as we turn off our sight sense and go deep into the listening world of Ibiza with 3 local island podcasters and storytellers.
